It was announced the circle members will be in charge of the dessert for the Area II Missionary Rally to be held at the church Feb. 27.

The women will also prepare salads for the Women's Missionary Fellowship salad buffet March 6. It was decided the distribution of tapes of church worship services will be the circle's local missionary Friendship Circle BETH COLE A "Grief, Betrayal and Arrest" was given oy Mrs. Ben Hanssen, assisted by Mrs. Wendell Day at the meeting of the Friendship Circle of Faith United Church of Christ held Thursday. The Lenten program was a series of famous paintings of the events of Christ's last days on earth.

A meditation of each picture was given and a poem read with each selection. Mrs. Day read the accompanying scripture of Matthew The program was ended with the Lord's Prayer. The business meeting was led by Mrs. Robert Miller.

Missionary Society Election of officers was held when the Women's Missionary Society of the Calvary Baptist Church met Thursday at the church for a noon potluck. Named to office were: Darlene Weggen, president; Marie Danz, vice president and reporter; Gertrude Reif, sunshine chairman; Eleanor Gotaas, secretary; Elma King, treasurer; Gerry Houseal, devotional chairman; Marge'Sloat, white cross chairman; and Ella Rummels, assistant. The meeting was opened with prayer by Ethel Sissel.
